At St Michael’s C of E Primary School, we are committed to supporting the health and well-being of every child. We understand that some children may have medical conditions (either long-term or short-term) that require care, understanding and, at times, additional support in school.
As a school rooted in Christian values, we view each child as a unique and valued individual. We aim to ensure that all pupils with medical needs are able to fully access education in a safe, supportive environment where they feel included and cared for.
We work closely with families and healthcare professionals to create individual healthcare plans where needed and to make appropriate arrangements for medication, treatment or emergency response. Staff receive relevant training, and we treat all medical information with confidentiality and compassion.
If your child has a medical condition (whether ongoing or newly diagnose) please let us know as soon as possible. This helps us plan effectively and ensures that we can provide the right care and support during the school day.
To discuss your child’s medical needs or to update us about any changes, please contact the school office or speak directly to your child’s teacher.
Together, we can make sure your child is safe, supported, and ready to thrive in school.
