I am delighted to welcome you to the St Michael’s website. I became head in May 2013, having been deputy head teacher here for 16 years. I am very proud of the school, and think it is a special place to work and to be educated. We have very supportive parents and governors, who all contribute to the caring and happy ethos of St Michael’s community. We work in partnership with parents to ensure we offer the best education we can for each individual child.

When I became Head, I wanted to show our commitment to your child’s whole education through our Ethos. On all our literature you will see the text,

We aim to allow every child to fulfil their potential within a happy, caring Christian environment, where each individual is valued.

We aspire to attain high academic standards for all the children. We track each individual child’s progress to ensure they achieve their best. We use specialist PE and Music teachers to cover PPA to offer high quality lessons . Our Seasonal days, school trips, clubs and Wrap club all ensure that the children here are taught to flourish, find out what they enjoy doing and learn their place in the world.
